This Privacy Policy describes how beam inventory ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service.
Account information: Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account.
Profile information: Optional display name and username you choose to provide.
Business data: Inventory items, sales records, expenses, contacts, platform fee settings, and other data you enter into the Service. This data belongs to you.
Usage data: Basic logs such as sign-in timestamps and feature usage patterns, used to improve the Service and troubleshoot issues. We do not track detailed browsing behavior.
Cookies and local storage: We use browser local storage to maintain your session and remember preferences. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
We do not use your business data (inventory, sales, expenses) for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
Your data is stored in Supabase, a managed database platform. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing.
We implement row-level security (RLS) so your data is only accessible to you. Server-side access requires a valid authenticated session.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to export your data regularly.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except:
Third-party platform data you import (StockX CSV exports, GOAT sales reports, etc.) is stored in your account only and is not shared with those platforms or anyone else.
Product images are fetched through our server-side image proxy to avoid CORS issues. Image URLs from approved domains (GOAT, StockX, Kickscrew, etc.) are retrieved on your behalf. We do not store these images permanently — they are cached temporarily to improve performance.
If you use the "Share List" feature, the shared list (product names, SKUs, sizes, conditions) is accessible to anyone with the link. Shared lists do not include cost information, profit data, or any financial information. You can delete a shared list at any time to revoke access.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time via the Settings page. Account deletion permanently removes all your data including inventory, sales, expenses, contacts, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked to you after account deletion.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
